Materials suitable for branding
Our electric brands are primarily designed to be used on wood, but they can also be used on cork, paper, leather, food and other soft materials, such as plastic. Our branding irons have been used for branding barrels, boxes, cardboard cartons, crates, chairs, pallets, wooden furniture and many other objects.
Remember your plate needs a deeper relief when used on leather, food and plastic surfaces. Keep that in mind when placing your order.
Voltage
The standard voltage is 120V, 60Hz. Our irons are designed to operate on 110-120V, either AC or DC. The plug is a standard 3-pronged US plug (NEMA 15-5).

Drill press branding iron
Received my branding iron quickly. Plugged it up and it works great. You just have to figure out how long to hold it in place and the temp setting. Hope to get many years of service from this.
Drill press mounted tool
